GiftUp

GiftUp is Golf 918’s chosen gift certificate partner. GiftUp uses e-gift certificates that are redeemable using short codes during the checkout or payment process. 

Begin the set up process by selecting the “Sign Up for an API Key” button.

This will take you to create an account with GiftUp.

Once you’re in GiftUp, navigate to the “Integrations” tab and scroll to the bottom of that page and select “API Keys” from the “Gift Up Rest API” section.

Select “Create a new API Key” assign a name and select “Create API Key”.

Copy the API Key that is produced (long string of characters) and go back to the Integrations tab in Golf 918.

Paste the API Key in the correct field. You can also go to the “Checkout code/link” tab in GiftUp, scroll to the bottom and copy your shareable checkout link to input in the Purchase URL field.

Hit “Save Changes” and your GiftUp integration is enabled. 

The API key allows Golf 918’s system to indicate the purchase was made so that GiftUp can process/deposit funds and transactions to your account but Golf 918 does not hold any of the balance from gift certificates at any point in time. 

GiftUp’s checkout links can be used as iFrame embeds the same as Golf 918’s booking, memberships and time pass purchasing on your website.
